AA: you are right, we’ve been thinking of redesigning Badoo for a while now. For many years it started initially to remind (it internally) us of a ‘Frankenstein’ as we call. This occurs with every item fundamentally. As you add features, monetise or just make an effort to improve consumer experience by the addition of new enjoyable elements, it eventually becomes like just a little xmas tree with plenty of buttons, menus within menus, and numerous confusing screens etc.
The old user interface had been restricting us in a lot of means as well as that we can no longer build up new features upon an old interface though we had tweaked and improved it many times, it got to the point where I admitted.
